The Automaster is looking for an Experienced Automotive Technician to join our BMW Service family. The technician will diagnose, repair and maintain BMW vehicles in accordance with BMW factory and The Automaster standards.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Diagnose BMW vehicles, when necessary or required, using network connected BMW diagnostic tools, equipment and resources
- Repair BMW vehicles with BMW special and/or approved tools, equipment, and materials
- Clearly document labor time for repairs, diagnostic and work time per labor guidelines
- Perform quality multi-point inspections on every vehicle, every time
- Effectively communicate with service advisor and shop foreman for all additional needs/concerns
- Utilize computer to find technical data and service bulletins for various repairs
- Maintain a professional appearance and work environment
Minimum Qualifications:
- 2 years of experience as an Automotive Technician/ Mechanic
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- A clean and valid driver's license
- Computer literacy and basic typing skills
- Proficiency in the use of common mechanic shop tools
- Able to bend, lift and physically perform duties in the scope of this position
